From the ScrapBook (my journal)

My current journal is coming along nicely. I stated before that the ring that binds it is too small for all the paper inside (especially when you add all sorts of ephemera like I do) so I have removed a section of it and now I think I can fill it as is. The paper that I tore out can be used for other projects, so it won't go to waste.

Anyway, here are some of the latest spreads from my journal:

The black 'pages' in between the regular ones are pockets that can hold loose items. It turns out it is really  handy for all sorts of things like mail, flyers and cards.

Hope you enjoyed this peek into my journal and I wish you all a wonderful and artsy weekend!

  1. Don't know how you do it - your journals always come out looking so nice but when "I" try, they tend to look just plain messy. lol I love that you have pockets in it to stick things in, how handy!

    1. I think I'm just too much of a control freak to go messy, haha. In all honesty I think a journal should be an instrument to express yourself, be it in writing or art or both and if it represents you you are doing it right, messy pages and all. In fact there's no way to do it wrong. I like the pockets too. Now I may have to add some to all my future journals!

I appreciate each and every comment. They make me really happy. I don't like spammers though and that's why the word verification is turned on. I know it's a pain, but I hope you understand.

I try to respond to all comments by directly replying in the comment section, but please understand that sometimes this may take some time. Know that I read them all and that they make my day.
