From the White Book

Time for a peek in my everyday journal The White Book. It's still filling up nicely and I keep hoping I will finish it within this year, but I'm making no promises, haha.

Here are some of my latest spreads. Sorry about the glare here and there. I have to take pictures with artificial light these days, 'cause it's just too dark otherwise and it reflects on some of the imagery.

I have picked a book that I want to turn into my next journal and I've even already started prepping it, but I'm still not completely sure, because I'm also drawn to use one of the bigger moleskine cahiers for my next one. Sigh, choices choices. These are the kind of choices where you can't choose wrong and as far as I'm concerned those are the hardest to make. No matter what you choose you always lose another great option. Oh well, time will tell what I'll do. We'll see. ;-)

Wishing you all a wonderful and artsy Wednesday!

  1. Love these pages! They seem orderly but not boring! Sometimes it's fun to do collage rather than paint each page.

    1. I love doing collage, cause it's art without getting your hands dirty! ;-)

  2. I really love the size and shape of this book, and I am wondering what book you began with. Was it a book you made yourself or a purchased book?

    1. This is a purchased book. It's a Seawhite of Brighton sketchbook. They are my favorites and come in different sizes. It's just a normal white paged sketchbook with a black cover. I painted the cover white (hence the title of the book). This one measures 25x25 cm (10x10 inches). I love the square format for some reason, always have.

I appreciate each and every comment. They make me really happy. I don't like spammers though and that's why the word verification is turned on. I know it's a pain, but I hope you understand.

I try to respond to all comments by directly replying in the comment section, but please understand that sometimes this may take some time. Know that I read them all and that they make my day.
