Botanical somethings on the iPad

Since I got an iPad Pro at the end of last year I have been trying out different things than just my regular patterns. I'm still trying to find my way into new areas and maybe they won't stick, but that's not the point. The point is to experiment and to have fun with my art.

Here are three drawings I did in Procreate with a botanical theme:

This is a good way to work with different brushes and practice layers and other features that make drawing digitally so interesting and so different from analogue drawing.

Hope you are experimenting with something you enjoy and wishing you a wonderful and artsy day!

  1. I like them all but REALLY love the top picture! It's fun trying new things, isn't it? It kinda keeps the spice in our lives a bit. (I don't know if that is just an American saying or not but it's one that I've always heard since I was young.) lol

    1. Thank you! My personal favorite is the last one, but that may also be because by that time I figures out how masks and other functions worked, haha. And yes, I know the expression even though it's not a Dutch one and I very much agree with it!

I appreciate each and every comment. They make me really happy. I don't like spammers though and that's why the word verification is turned on. I know it's a pain, but I hope you understand.

I try to respond to all comments by directly replying in the comment section, but please understand that sometimes this may take some time. Know that I read them all and that they make my day.
