Morning Mosaic #15 - Step by Step

Another peek into my watercolour mosaics process through my morning art.

This is mosaic number fifteen and it took me eight sittings of half an hour to finish. Well...the last sitting was probably shorter, since I only had a few squares left to fill. But still...these things do take their time!

Again: changes in colour have to do with different lighting in the morning, depending on what time I got to sit behind my worktable.

I really like how this one turned out, it's like a chaotic and yet orderly pattern that I think would make a really nice tiled wall. I guess though for now it will just have to live in my sketchbook. ;-)

Wishing you all a wonderful and artsy day!

  1. I would buy this as wrapping paper. Or scrapbook paper. It would be so nice to collage with.

    1. That would be very nice indeed. I do sometimes make colour copies of my patterns for that purpose.

    2. I agree with Siobhan!! Though the idea of a wall, either tiled or painted, is also intriguing... I have just opened up a new possibility in my mind... :-)

    3. I am thinking huge tiled walls with small stones in a very big building. Hey, I can dream, right?
