From the Pattern Book

The warm days of summer when the studio is too hot to be in are perfect for working in a small sketchbook like my moleskine pattern book. The only challenge is to work with a smaller set of colours, since I don't bring my entire set of Pitt Big Brush markers downstairs.

Here are some of my latest:

I'm happy that I still enjoy drawing these so much even after more than a year of doing them. I actually counted and now have over 70 patterns done in this book! There's still a couple of dozen pages to go before the book is full, but I'm already enjoying leafing through the variety of shapes and colours in it. It really is a bit of a personal treasure.

Wishing you all a wonderful and artsy day!
