The last of the Morning Portraits

My last morning art project is fully finished. I filled a 32 page sketchbook with portraits, mostly done in multi-coloured pencil. In fact I only did two in watercolour in the very beginning and am almost sorry I did that, because it feels a little inconsistent, but then again I am anal like that, so it's probably just me.

Here are the last six portraits:

As always these are after a mail order catalogue, so no one I know. Mail order catalogue girls are simply convenient and always available to pose for me.

I really enjoyed drawing these and it was nice to draw with coloured pencil for a change, which I had never really done, especially these multi-coloured ones.
It was also nice to do a project where I could finish a page in one sitting. In fact most of these took only about 15 to 20 minutes.

Now my next project, which I began about a week ago, is not nearly as fast. That one will be a real test of my patience, but that may be interesting in itself. I will tell you all about it in a future post.

For now I wish you all a wonderful and artsy day.
