A hundred Morning Paintings

I have to say it was a bit of a personal milestone when a few weeks ago I did my hundredth morning painting. This painting practice is really teaching me about how a little step every day can lead to filled sketchbooks full of paintings. I highly recommend trying something like this, because it feels a little bit like magic and when you look back you can hardly believe it was actually you who filled all those pages. It makes you wonder what else you might be capable of, haha!

Anyway, here are paintings number 91 to 100.

#91 - Flowers and ink

#92 - More flowers and ink

#93 - Mail order catalogue girl

#94 - Mail order catalogue girl

#95 - Mail order catalogue girl

#96 - Tree

#97 - Rainbow scales

#98 - Gift from sister

#99 - Flower pattern

#100 - A bit of a milestone

As usual these were done in gouache in my studio, except for #97 which was done on the ferry in watercolour and #98 which was done at my sister's house also in watercolour. I'm mentioning that, because I love how I'm keeping this up even if I'm not at home or just carrying a minimum of art supplies.

As I write this I am already three weeks further in my painting and still going strong. So here's to hoping for many more!

Wishing you all a wonderful and artsy day.
